Amanda is a director, actor, and producer based in the DC Metro area.
Amanda graduated from James Madison University magna cum laude with a BA in Theatre and Dance with a theatre concentration, emphasizing her studies in directing and management.
In 2018, Amanda was appointed Artistic Director of the City of Fairfax Theatre Company, and is honored to be part of enriching, educating and connecting her community through theatre programming for all ages.
Most recently, Amanda has directed for the City of Fairfax Theatre Company, NextStop Theatre, the DC One Minute Play Festival, Young Playwright's Theatre 20th Anniversary Festival, and assistant directed at Forum Theatre. She produced, wrote, and performed in Pinky Swear Production's Cabaret XXXMas. Amanda has worked in artistic and/or management capacities at Shakespeare Theatre Company, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Forum Theatre, Moonlit Wings Productions, Pinky Swear Productions, and NextStop Theatre. Amanda returned to the stage after a five year hiatus in Dominion Stage's Heathers the Musical in 2019. A native of Northern Virginia, she is excited to continue pursuing a varied career in theatre right here at home.
Some favorite projects include Heathers the Musical, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Giver, Awake and Sing, Our Country's Good, Little Women and Legally Blonde (twice!).
